Malaucène is a pleasant medieval village in Vaucluse that will surprise you with its Provençal charm, its gentle way of life and its beautiful streets. Stroll through Old Malaucène and discover a courtyard shaded by plane trees, the source of the Groseau River, the Wednesday morning market, the viewpoint of the Calvary and the few listed monuments.

Mont Ventoux

A paradise for cycling tourists and nature lovers, Mont Ventoux, nicknamed the "Giant of Provence" or the "Bald Mountain", has a lot to offer and to propose to you. On foot, by bike, by car, on horseback or by motorbike, climb to the summit and get one of the most beautiful panoramas of the region. Mont Ventoux also offers activities for the whole family such as climbing, sky observation points, trail running, tree climbing, swimming spots and many others.

The Lace of Montmirail

The Dentelles de Montmirail massif is renowned for its resplendent nature, its exceptional wines, its climbing spots and its hikes. The Dentelles de Montmirail is always a unique experience in the heart of unspoiled nature. The perfumes and colors of Provence will be there for you.

Vaison-la-Romaine

A few kilometers from our lodgings, our villas and our hotel, discover the city of Vaison-la-Romaine, an open-air museum. Stroll through the streets of the city and discover remains of another era and exceptional sites. We advise you to go through the archaeological sites of Puymin and la Villasse, the Archaeological Museum of Théo Desplans, the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Nazareth, the Antique Theater, the Roman Bridge and the Château Comtal.

Avignon

Nicknamed the “City of the Popes”, the city of Avignon has a lot to offer you. Take a tour of the Pont d’Avignon, then pass by the ramparts to enter the city center. You will enjoy strolling in the center and discovering many museums and monuments such as the Musée du Petit Palais, Place Pie, the Jardin des Doms, the Palais des Papes and many others. Don’t miss the Festival d’Avignon, one of the largest contemporary live performance events.

Orange

A 35-minute drive from La Ferme du Gros Noyer will take you to the center of Orange. While in the City of Princes, visit the Antique Theater, the Saint-Eutrope Hill, the Arc de Triomphe, the Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth Cathedral, the Museum of Art and History, and the Aeronautical Museum.

Isle-on-the-Sorgue

For all those who like to hunt for bargains and go to flea markets, we invite you to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, with its antique village. Stroll through the streets of the market and the various flea markets to leave with a souvenir of the region, a work of art or an antique. You will also enjoy sitting on the banks of the Sorgue for a nap in the shade or a picnic. 

Provencal markets

Malaucène and all the surrounding villages each host a market in their town centre. Stroll between the colourful and fragrant stalls of the market gardeners and do your shopping. Sun-drenched fruits, olive oils produced nearby, vegetables harvested the day before and many other products will fill the stalls. The region is also renowned for its wines, take one of the many wine routes and go for a tasting.
